Your role and responsibility as Senior Software Engineer

As a Software engineer for critical applications at LICRIT, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of safety-critical software products across various industries. Your role extends beyond coding, encompassing strategic decision-making, architectural design, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust software solutions for mission-critical applications. Your main responsibilities will be to contribute to the development of safety critical software for the most critical applications, to deliver high quality and robust software which may fly for more than 15+ years, to create and maintain software requirements, architecture, design, and source code. As well as to create and maintain software requirements, architecture, design, and source code and to assist with project management and planning of development tasks/activities.

Your profile should include

  • Advanced knowledge of embedded programming in C.
  • Being comfortable in working with microcontrollers.
  • Able to work independently on defined tasks and be proactive.
  • Ability to prepare technical documents.
  • English language (spoken and written).

Additional experience considered as beneficial

  • Experience with development of safety critical systems and software.
  • Knowledge of DO-178C for airborne software or any relevant standard for critical software.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, PikeOS, uC/OS).
  • Experience with model-based design.
  • Experience with software testing (TDD, unit testing, etc.).
  • Experience with writing software requirements.
  • Knowledge of modern embedded platforms, FPGAs, and microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of Python.
